Westbourne
is no doubts an interesting borough of Bournemouth one should visit. It became part of the town just in 1884, and walking around the area you can still feel like you’re in an urban village. From Bournemouth center is really easy to reach. You can, for instance, take a bus, all the ones in the direction of Poole such as m1 or m2 are suitable. We recommend taking a walk. In fact, once you are in Poole Hill Road, just at the end of West Hill Road, you just keep on walking for about 20 minutes until you reach Westbourne. Nowadays the place is a huge urban area, mostly famous for its diversity of shops. It’s ideal for a Sunday trip as well as for a quiet afternoon in the company of friends. There are many shops and boutiques for elegant ladies and the best ones are located in the iconic Victorian arcade. The village is a great mix of young and old. Many are the bars who have created just a few years ago and are run by young people. You can find here a lot, from the classical shops to the new independent ones. If you have just moved to Bournemouth, and you are still trying to find out more about the town, I recommend you Westbourne to meet with your friends.
